City Behind Walls - Identity versus Image

An international conference of historical towns, called „City Behind Walls – Identity versus Image“ organized in Trenčín on October 24-28, 2006 put emphasis on preserving the cultural and historical heritage, the need for a sensitive approach to the environment we live in, and exchange of experience and opinions on the identity of historical towns and their place in today’s global environment.
