Miloš Alexander Bazovský

Miloš Alexander Bazovský (1899 – 1968) is known from several collective exhibitions and individual shows and his paintings are part of almost all gallery exhibitions which are focussed on Slovak painting of the 20th century. Even though his rich meaningful creativity and life are connected in particular with Turec, Liptov, Orava a Detva, his last years from 1962 he spent in Trenčín. In 1964 he was announced as a national artist for his entire life contribution to art. Trenčín gallery holds his name and hosts a permanent exhibition of his works. He died 15th December in Trenčín, where he buried.
