Park General M. R. Štefánik is connected between the train and bus station, and the centre of the town. In provides a nice resting space and is ideal for short strolls.

Záblatie lies in the western part of Trenčín on the right bank of river Váh under the Biele Karpaty(white Carpathians) mountains. Until 1985 Záblatie was an independent village. In the same year Záblatský park was announced as a protected historical park. From historical sights the most valuable are the late renaissance castle with chapel dating from the end of the 17th century. In the cemetery there is a stone cross dating from the first half of the 19th century.

In the northeast part of Trenčín there are two city parts Kubra and Kubrica. Kubra starts at the end of Kubrická valley and lies among the stream Kubrica up to the meeting point of river.
