From Trenčianske Bohuslavice direction northwest into the main peak of the Biele Karpaty (White Carpathians) there is an 18km long valley along the River Bošáčka.

Strážovské hills

Belong to Fatra-Tatras area of the West Carpathians. South of Trenčín, in the Jastrabské saddleback, the hills connect to Považský Inovec. On the east, they connect to Malá Fatra at the Fačkovské saddleback, while to the north the hills spread over the Briestenné settlement and connect to the Súľovské hills. The hills take up more than 900 km2.
