In 1915-1916, the Relief of the Victorious Hungaria was carved in the castle rock as a symbol of heroism of the former Ugria.

Memorial is located in the Park of M. R. Štefánik (close to the public library of Michal Rešetka) it embodies a broken wing of a plane which General Štefánik crashed nearby to Bratislava during his arrival to Slovakia.

The memorial was first exhibited on the 28th December 1991. Its composers are two architects Ivan Michalec, DrSc., Ing. Arch. Miroslav Mojžiš and the sculptor Milan Omandík.

The original memorial of tortured is located in Dušova valley in the Forest park of Brezina and is devoted to 69 victims of fascism, who were executed here by Germans from October 1944 till April 1945.
