The memorial was first exhibited on the 28th December 1991. Its composers are two architects Ivan Michalec, DrSc., Ing. Arch. Miroslav Mojžiš and the sculptor Milan Omandík.
It is a composition of three important figures from Slovak history that are captured in serious poses. In their background there is an open book which symbolises their contribution to Slovak national literature. The entire memorial symbolizes Slavic togetherness and national pride.
