Mestská galleria - City gallery Trenčín

Mestská galéria (City gallery) of Trenčín is situated in Mierove square where is also Museum of Vojtech Zamarovský presenting copies of important and antique Egyptian artefacts – presents from Greek government and Vojtech Zamarovský born in Trenčín.
The gallery is also managing an exhibition hall which is in the adjacent building. It was founded in 1998. The artefacts painting, sculpture, graphics, photographs and applied arts are currently shown by artists from Trenčín and also artists from partner cities from Czech republic, France, Hungary, Poland and Serbia. The gallery supports the works of young artists and students of art.
