ORA ET ARS 2008

Internal fine art literature symposium ORA ET ARS. First year of Internal fine art literature symposium ORA ET ARS– Skalka 2008 was held from the 23rd – 29th June 2008 with many Slovak and foreign artists from partnership towns of Trenčín were invited.
Ten artists came out those seven were fine artists. This creative symposium enriched life of a pilgrimage area of Trenčín. The participants were creating in the place of Malá and Veľká Skalka. During the seven days they had an opportunity of creative getting to know each other, practical confrontation of their experience in painting sculpturing or literature field, learning the history of Skalka, life in Trenčín and the region of central Považie.
The result of the creation of all participants was possible to see in the cloister on Skalka during the traditional pilgrimage there – on 19th of July connected with a cultural programme 9th – 30th July 2008 in Mestská galéria (City gallery) of Trenčín.
