Prof. MUDr. Alojz Chura

Prof. MUDr. Alojz Chura (11. 6. 1899 Bytča-Hliník – 24. 7. 1979 Trenčín) worked in Trenčin hospital at the head of the paediatric ward. He was one of the founders and organizers of modern paediatrics in Slovakia. He organized courses for doctors of parental advising and founded the first breast-feeding centre and many other institutions focussing on children and youth care.
